Definition of time differs from people to people.For some it is past,for some it is future or right now.When we come closer to our old friends we remember past and try to satisfy our feelings and how we spent it nicer than how ever.At the end we say we were very small and being small was better because we were tasting the enjoy and sharing many things.
For some,actually for the young people talk about the future because they have enough time , power and dream.Generalizing for all young wont be true because there are many,did the third weddings and dreaming for new house,visiting for different places of the world.
Last type of people in perception of time is like many scholars said;live now you cant return past and you dont have any guaranty for the future so live now.This is the thing that like most.Live now.Not for future,don't be regretful with the past.
