The book deals with three rising models of Collaborative Consumption: Product Service Systems, Communal Economies, and Redistribution Markets.
Collaborative Consumption has started as a trend and despite that fact that different companies now are using internet to sell the products, it seems to be an interesting enterprise. The book describes how people are coming together using worldwide networks such as Freecycle and EBay.
It is true that this new trend is bringing people together and the so called shopping is becoming more practical and faster through internet. It is also true that old items may be sold through internet and not lost in the warehouses. Nevertheless this new trend is successful for some companies and not that much for the others.
The only thing that I would like to criticise about this new practice is the fact that the old way of shopping is losing. The feeling of looking at the goods directly, touching them and even bargaining is inexistent. It is understandable to buy something so called cutting edge but it is not really functioning for old stuff or antiquities.
Finally I would like to say that by using cutting edge technology and worldwide networks its nonsense to buy old items.
yes our main challenge as i think how can we change our culture from ( my own things ) to be (our ) , and it is surprise for me because american all the last time were speaking about the personal own and capital but now they are going to make the balance to be cooperative and capital by sharing some of our daily use

in some muslim societies like egypt or turkey some people make these things without any rewards or sharing from people , they think it is obligation to help each other
