The time paradox
Whether we live a happy and completed life or not depends in the relationship that each individual has to his/her position in time. It comes to my mind a quote that seems so true” Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein." It depends how you use it and benefit from it… So for sure it’s the use of time the one that make a difference to everybody’s life because as we know life is finite and our medium is TIME. It’s the scarcest resource that we have and the way that we perceive it influence our decision making. It’s said that in case you want to know someone better try to understand how they think about time.
There are different perceptions in time such as: past-positive (the good old days), past-negative (the bad old days), and present-hedonistic (live fast die young), present-fatalistic (life sucks), future (better plan ahead), transcendental-future (life after death future).  Generally when people grow older there is a tendency to move from the present to future orientation, and you got a mixture of all perspectives that were mentioned above. Something which is worth to be added it that attitudes toward time is learned through personal experiences.
