The star principle


The idea that is shown in this book is very optimistic for businesses. I am going to illustrate it with an example from Albania. Bulfon Group is specialized in constructing and hiring premises in Trade Centers. First, the owner of the Group has identified the niche which was the business in the field of trade centers. I have met him personally in Dubai, while he was discussing about the first project as a trade center named “Trade Center Universe”. Actually, that field was unexploited in Albania. The expectations were optimistic because it was something new for the people of Tirana specifically, and Albania generally. Indeed, he implemented the project very soon by preceding all other investors and started to think about a second trade center. Hence, he became a star on that niche and constructed another trade center named “Tirana East Gate”, the biggest one in Albania.  Several changes have been made in the second project and many improvements have been implemented. The size of the second project is doubled or tripled. The place of the project is selected strategically, because aside of the building intercrosses the new road Tirana – Elbasan and the new ring street of Tirana. All these advantages clarify that this business could be classified as a Star Principle as the textbook defines it.
