Born Entrepreneurs, Born Leaders

Scott Shane, in his book ''Born Entrepreneurs, Born Leaders'' asserts that the genes have more effect on human behaviour. He supports his dissertation with many study reports showing that the genes is the main difference for intelligence and personality of the people. To a certain extent I strongly agree with him. However I beleive that this effect is not same for all individuals, it completely depends on personal experiences, intelligence, liberty, beliefs and iron will. The extreme example could be the prophets; after all the worst difficulties in their life they were not behaving like a genetic human anymore.

  2. I believe people are born enterpreneurs, this is not something you become through education. It has to do with personality and risk taking, which as the book showns is determined in the genes. The list of Forbes 400 richest man in America includes a lot of people just with highschool education, few of them with master degree and even less with PhD degrees. We all know the examples of Windows, Apple and Facebook leaders and the sucess of their initiatives, which support also the author's ideas.

  3. I also believe people are born enterpreneurs. You can be a good manager and develop in your career but entrepreneurship is genetic.

  4. all the successfull entrepreneurs believe that entrepreneurship is born. it reminds me a quotation from ``v for vendetta`` the movie:
Yes i created a lie but because you believed in it you find something true about yourself.
