JOIN THE CLUB


Peer pressure significantly more influential than other pressures, even parental influence. Rosenberg explains that what the people want now to belong, to be part of the in crowd and respected. But how? Join programs that change personal behavior through social pressure, join to different clubs, groups and persuasive that the individual adopts a new identity?
Rosenberg explains of how “our psyches, our genes, our economics, and our culture that makes us act so illogically.
Rosenberg in her book was impressed by the student revolution in Yugoslavia, which taught “budding movements to forgo mass demonstrations in favor of growing step-by-step, the use of branding, humor, dilemma actions, and techniques for turning fear to advantage.
Rosenberg has low information about other countries because it happened in to many countries. It happened in Albania too.
In her book she explains how groups make people should take part, by structuring the movement, how members can see themselves, and be seen by others etc.

  1. Not always join the club. Sometimes we need to preserve our identity. Thus we have more respect. But careful, you may be avoided if exaggerate.
