This was a very amazing book. The idea of the book or even a single word write on it has fascinated me. The Prof. Scott Shane professor of entrepreneurial studies at Case Western Reserve University, has tried to explain in his book the thesis if to be Entrepreneur is write in our genes or the skills that make us (people) better as leadership is come as result of our work or our willingness. As conclusion the science hasn’t verified yet that being Entrepreneurs is written in our DNA. We know that to be a good musician you should have “a good ear” , and for being a good picture you should have “a good imagination” and the skills to mix the colors. For being a good writer you should have skills “to collect the words” to touch our hearts, etc. Why not everyone can be a good writer , picture, or musician. We all can see the colors, write words or listen music and read it. This people have talent because of their genes. Also we see in our works different leaderships which for most successful ones we say with each other that he /she has in their blood or has born to be a leader. So even this theory wasn’t scientific proved that it is written in our genes I would like to believe that one day the science will give to us some answer very closed to this theory and I do believe it. Now exist the other side of this theory, in case that the science prove this theory then we will try to decide for our skills, for our future and desire what we do better till in the moment that we will born. And if the science go so far reading our full DNA chain and modify it then we will ask for the science to born more entrepreneurs child or talented people.
This is for the future….Today I want to believe what my family, community, friends, teachers and colleges has tell and teach to us for following our dreams and more hard we work more closed
to us we see them realized.
I want today to believe in the expression “Nothing is impossible if you work hard and never give up”
I totally agree with almost all the comment written by you. I also think that this book was really interesting, but i cannot say that our future, skills and everything else depends on DNA only. In addition the nurture side that reflects environmental factors plays also an important role in determining one person’s career and career choice.

I would want to read that interesting and amazing book! I really like to read books about successful entrepreneurs like Steve Jobs, Yuri Mintskovsky or Mark Zuckerberg. They are very inspiring! I totally agree with that expression above. If you work hard and never give up, you'll surely succeed in your career.
YanıtlaSili totally agree with the last paragraph of yours, regarding to the approach of today life. Even why genes may have their own effect and influence in our life, work , behavior (and this is pretty normal), this must not stop people trying, and exploring new possibilities. So, if every thing is genetic, then why exist business schools, universities, and MBA! I see, the genes' affect as part of every day life, as the color of our eyes, or some parts of our character, some kind of personalities, ...we normally have the effect of our genes in a lot of fields of our life, but we don't know the quantity of genes effect and our own job. Normally we should use properly the abilities inherited from our genes but this should not stop our work if, we don't believe we have the genes of a successful person. I have once read that its is enough 99% of work and 1% of talent.
YanıtlaSilI also agree with your point of view, the book somehow confirms what we have thought all this time, that "the apple falls under the apple". The DNA plays an important role, but there is also the environment and many other factors which have a considerable effect on us. But anyway being aware, of the DNA part at least, makes the things much more easier, so we can rely on our best qualities and make better decisions in our life.
YanıtlaSilThat picture has a very significant meaning and I appreciate it a lot. Since we are little human beings, you can see in what filed or domain there is a spark of talent of what you are good in doing. If you see little children drawing or singing, or playing a musical instrument there is no doubt that there is talent there which should be developed and this talent for sure stands in the genes.
YanıtlaSilI liked a lot the examples chosen by you. Since we are little we have dreams and what should we want for the future and we keep growing with this. Nothing comes without doing nothing. I agree with the fact the author mentions that our genes can help us and have impact on our career and job but I remember the other book that are also the genes that determine our happiness. I think that being a successful leader needs hard work and passion and of course genes have a great impact.
