I remember from this book the (triz theory ) that is said all the problems in the world had solved by some methods , technics , tools , ways and he try to collect these ways to solve these problems to be as a model for others
We understand that every problem has the own specific but at general we can find by these models the best solution of our work
I totally agree with the idea given in the comment. For the biggest problems that scientists or other people have faced, they have found the solutions in very simple and modest models of the nature. By this a remember what a simple fact; the scientists of NASA wasted several years to invent a pen which was able to write in the space under the conditions of lack of gravity.
