Six Pixels of Separation, is written by Mitch Joel, one of the top 100 online marketers in the world. The book is about modern marketing, combined with social media and some business practices. It offers many useful tips as it does not tell only how to create a blog and a face book account, but instead it goes into detail explaining why and how these things should be created and how to engage the audience into them.
The idea of the book is to get the business out there by reaching the same amount of people as any big corporation. As Mitch Joel says, “Everyone is connected. Connect your business to everyone”. The truth is that we no longer live in a world of six degrees of separation. In fact, we're now down to only six pixels of separation, which changes everything we know about doing business. Six Pixels of Separation, is a book full of stories and examples on how others have succeeded in the online world. Learning from others examples, I think is the best way to learn.
