The Book of Richard Koch deals with suggestions on how to establish a star and successful business and how to profit from a successful business. It seems that the author himself is the live example who in a few years turns out from an author and consultant into a millionaire.
The strategies and examples of Koch are real and very concrete for individuals that have an already established business. On the other hand, what are the odds for finding a star business, sticking to it and taking its example to establish your own one? Looking at the real world, the odds are close to zero and the advices of the other authors change from one to the other. If Koch says stick to the star business, some others say find a unique idea and develop your own business if you want to achieve success.
With this dense information on how to be successful with your business, the best advice could be that old proverb; ask 100 and do as you think.
The author starts this book by introducing an example of his own life, and all the time he brings such examples, regarding his investments and his career but i don't think this is enough to illustrate the success in a business. I don't believe that the main point is to advice those who already have established a business, because if they are not stars it is difficult to convert in stars. this because it depends on the industry and in business to. And, I also perceived that this book suggest that the originality provides excellence if you have to be the first in an unexplored industry. so, you need a unique idea to construct a star business. I see these two topics related to each other.

YanıtlaSilI agree with you at all and additionally Koch focuses in this book more on star companies who are a niche. His tend is to tell us to invest on Star Businesses and you will be rich soon and all about is based also on his experience.
