The Star Principle
“The Star Principle” is an entertaining book based on unoriginal ideas written by Richard Koch. This author has the great advantage of having become a multimillionaire in a few years so it is for sure that his books will be popular. It is usually better advice on how to make good investments from a guy worth 100 million GBP than a guy who is not. So he wants to publicize himself by showing to everyone how we may imitate him, i.e. become multimillionaire in a short time.
According to him, the best way we can do this is to develop a star business or at least to be associated with one. Star businesses are ventures operating in a high-growth sector and are the leaders in their niche of the market. The book is filled with case studies from successful businesses. The author maintains that star businesses are very rare but if you can find one your wonderful life is assured.
Personally, I am a little skeptical about this book. It sounds good in theory but I believe it’s a totally different matter when it comes to practice. There are a lot of variables in real life and finding the star it is just only one of them. All his analysis is based on past successful businesses and it is easy to say after they have become successful that they were meant to be stars. The book does not mention all the businesses that seemed stars at the beginning and afterwards failed.

I totally agree when you say unoriginal because unoriginal because really it seems like bringing in this book many marketing examples. But, I don't think it is all about imitating him because the main topic was how to identify the right business to invest, so the star ones. And, afterwards he also considers the possibility not being a millionaire guy.
YanıtlaSilI also agree regarding the practicality of this book. Because, in Albania for example it seems impossible to be applied.
