The Star Principle

This book focuses on definition of a star business. It defines three main themes; the star idea, find a star and nurture a star. He gives a explanations with his own experience trying to support the idea. Personally, I think that in many cases it is not easy to categorize businesses acoording to his categories. Depending on the cultural aspects of the society and depending on the markets, there can be different types of businesses.

  2. I agree with you but cultural aspects of the society and the market conditions can also provoke finding a star in order to be successful.

  3. All of you know that stars normally have 4-5 points, so the world's wealth/economy is allocated on 4-5 % people. What about the rest? We even for small children use stars for marking their homeworks. "I want to be a star", how many times have you heard it?
    Look around you, how many of your friends/relatives are stars? Let me answer for myself, one, max two.

  4. hi Sokol, for sure star business are a small percentage or maybe a business cannot remain always a star business look at the Kodak company now and the sucess it had in the 80's. But what we should understand from the book is that in order to suceed we need to be associated with a star business. We need to invest our money or time depending what we got in a star business.
