BORN ENTERPRENEURS, BORN LEADERS

In his book “Born Entrepreneurs, Born Leaders: How Your Genes Affect Your Work Life”,  Scott Shane explains the effects of genes in human behavior .
It discusses how genes influence work interests, work values, decision making, risk taking, management style, leadership style, creativity, entrepreneurship, and work performance, among other aspects of work life.
In fact, studies show that over one-third of the difference between people on virtually every employment-related dimension investigated, including work interests, work values, job satisfaction, job choice, leadership turnover, job performance, and income, is genetic.
However it must be noted that DNA influences the probability to behave in a particular way; it does not assure it. The knowledge of how genetics influences our behavior is also useful for acting in ways contrary to our  ‘‘nature’’.
