a book written by Scott Shane and it tells us how our genes have a great impact
on our career as employer or employee.
Ok
I understand that our genes have a great impact on our organizational behavior,
on abilities to change, on our ability on taking risks, new opportunities, new
experiences but this is not the only one we need to consider to be successful.
If someone says that is in me genes to be a leader or I am born entrepreneur and
wait for something happening itself and stay doing nothing this is not the
case.
People
have dreams, desires, and passion and don’t give up on building something,
being someone, winning etc. that’s the way our genes help us and has great impact
on our life and especially on our work life.

Shane has also taken in consideration scientific researches on how genes can affect
career choices as a result of our thinking’s, feels and actions.
I agree with you opinion, when you say that the genes are not the only one to consider to be successful. It is normal that genes affect our behavior, impact our organizational behavior , because we are created this way, but in the mean time we do our own choices, and for that we are responsible. As you mentioned you can not expect to be a successful leader why you believe you have the right genes. Even why the book relies on scientific findings, that seems too early to be seen in practice. So, Scot Shane suggest this theory but doesn't briefly explain how it is going to be used in the business world.

YanıtlaSilHere I will mention the scientific sayings when they pretend that can create a human only on laboratory conditions, but I think this will never happen. So if they concluded so for me doesn't means that this will be true in practice.
