Actually almost every notable figure in history has disrupted the status quo, has come up with a new idea has been hated and disrespected perhaps, but later on people have realized the geniality of their ideas and has embraced them eventually.
All the prophets, Newton, Einstein, Marx, Lincoln, Gandhi, Jobs etc. have disrupted the status quo. I want to conclude with a very significant advert from Apple satirizing IBM by using themes from George Orwell's 1984.

Great blog Saimir. I really like it. This is complitely true. THe ideas which was different from the mass make poeple not embracing them. It was needed time when the mass has accepted and embracing the inovation and the idea which has comes up with contrary conclusion as most of the poeple thought. All the new changes need time for the adaption and always are disrupted
YanıtlaSilI found this book very interesting and valuable book that takes the idea of disruption and gives you a way to think through it and put it into practice. As I work on technology part I would say that technology professionals should read this book and apply its advice to their own solutions as well as to IT itself which is undergoing massive disruption. Anyway this book is valuable because it provides clear and concise focus on the tools and techniques for recognizing disruptive opportunities.
YanıtlaSilIt is true that when one, comes with a completely , new idea, a disruptive one, generally it is not welcomed. This because of the relation with the old idea. People abandon with difficulty, their previous style to have an other...that is why disruptive idea begins by disrupting the cliches. This book clearly explains the way this process of innovation by disrupting, in several stages. And, in fact every thing begins by changing the status quo. I guess this process leads to innovation and being a leader of change, as this is an important thing in business world.
